Control of nitric acid production line - Rouen, France (2009)

In 2009 we've helped Emerson to commission a nitric acid production line in Rouen, France. The quality control and the control system precision required in a nitric acid production line is of the highest level.

Expansion of the main DeltaV based system to vizualize an existing production line implemented in a different crontrol system. Implemented without an outage to the production systems.

Expansion of the main DeltaV based system to vizualize newly installed turbines managed by a different control system.

Control of polybutadien production - Synthos Kralupy (2010-2011)

So far the biggest project we've implemented. A complete production line control in the petrochemical industry. The project duration was 15 months (from receiving the project documentation till commissioning). It included several weeks of FAT tests and SATA tests with the customer, project architects and the license owner of the production line technology.

Control system for Ammonium Nitrate production line and a NPK and DASA fertilizer production line for Lovochemie, Lovosice (2012)

Replacement of RS3 based control system with an DeltaV system. Based on analysis and an out dated documentation the very old system was replaced with a brand new system developed in DeltaV. The transition was planned for a summer production break and was successfully accomplished without any incidents.

Food production control - Marlenka (2009)

An example of a food production line visualization. The application was developed using SW InTouch from Wonderware. The application manages over 200 automation components and communicates with three controllers.

Complete ČOV production control implemented in WinCC Flexible and S7 using a provided project documentation.

Ketchup and mayo production line roull out - A-Z Libanon (2011)

Example of a food industry production line control. The controller is implemented using PLC Siemens S7 in programming standard S88. The production line visualization was developed using SW InTouch from Wonderware and the reporting server is build on top of a MS SQL server. The controller manages about 350 automation components. The complete commissioning of the new production took 6 weeks including the IO tests.

Car radio production line control system, Continental Automotive Brandýs n. L. (2013)

In cooperation with Siemens Praha we have implemented a visualization and control system for a semi-automatic car radio production line. It has been implemented using S7 and WinCC flexible.

New control system for riveting station on the production line FPK.

Turnkey delivery of milk pasteurization system for Awal Dairy – Bahrain (2019)

Technology design and turnkey delivery of pasteurization system automation components. The existing system failed US Navy audit and needed complete refurbishment. The production line was stopped for only 7 days when the electrical installation, automation components and commissioning were executed. The control system was implemented in Simatic S7 and visualization in SW InTouch.

Control and Visualization of yogurt pasteurization component- Friesland-Romania (2019)

Technology design and control of reused pasteurization production line component. The pasteurizer control was integrated into the full Friesland Romania factory production line control system. The control system was implemented in Siemens PLC, visualization in SW InTouch. Reporting subsystem was implemented in MS SQL.

Design of Aseptic Tank Control and Visualization system - Friesland-Romania (2019-2020)

Technology design and automation components specification for a refurbished aseptic tank. The implementation included the upgrade design and flow dynamics calculations. The tank control system has been integrated with the factory production line control. The control system was implemented in Siemens PLC, visualization in SW InTouch. Reporting subsystem was implemented in MS SQL.

Commissioning of new TetraPak milk processing plant in Palestine (2018-2019)

As a subcontractor to TetraPak we have helped to commission the production line control system. After a week of software standard introduction we have spent several months on debugging and tuning the milk production line. The HW design of the control system was over engineered, where individual line components had their own independent control systems. Nevertheless we have managed to fix all issues and go live.

Pumping station Černá za Bory control system. Pumping station provides necessary water pressure for hot water exchange station in Chrudim on the Pardubice branch.

Chemical water treatment plant Juliska for Parzska teplarenska (2019)

Implementation of water treatment and condensation control system in heating station Juliska. The technology includes two processing lines: desalination of incoming water and ionex purification of returning condensate.

Production line APV3 modernization - Danone Benešov (2011)

Example of a deployment of the complete SW Wonderware software stack (Wonderware application server, Wonderware historian server, Wonderware information server, InTouch). Production line control is implemented using PLC Telemechanique.

The production line modernization was implemented without any production disruption. Project planning and testing of the new system took 4 months. The switch to the new production line was done during a single shift.

Production line expansion - Lactalis Pavlodar (2011)

Change of the production line controller without production disruption. The new controller is implemented using PLC Telemechanique and Siemens S7. The production line visualization vas developed in SW Magelis. The project contains 4 PLCs and 5 operator panels.

The production line upgrade execution required detailed planning and precise coordination of the controller programming and the mechanical engineering work.

Implementation of limestone crashing plant control system. It has been implemented in Telemechanique.

Control system for a radiation monitoring soluiton for the nuclear energy industry in the UK. The system was delivered towards strict development methodology requirements aligned with the nuclear industry standards.

Example of a food industry production line control with reporting system implementation. The production line visualization was implemented using SW InTouch from Wonderware and the production line performance data is stored and reported from an MS SQL server.

The reporting system can track a particular batch of milk throughout the whole production all the way to a final product. The customer can then identify all the production processes using a particular batch of milk (important in the case of a later identified supplier problem).

Visualization of an energy management system (2012-2013)

In coo[eration with Siemens Ostrava. The complete SW Wonderware System Platform (Wonderware Application Server, Wonderware Historian Server, Wonderware Information Server, InTouch) has been used to replace the current visualization system based on a Linux platform. The implementation included new visualization system design, communication components implementation and end user testing. It has been completed in 6 months. The new system includes over 40 000 I/O variables. Testing has been conducted under full power of the distribution grid.

Production efficiency evaluation system (2009)

Example of a traditional DB based application. We have developed a production efficiency evaluation system for Unilever. The historical production performance data is stored in a MS SQL server. The end user application is developed in VisualStudio 2008 and installed on 30 PCs. The application is fully customizable by the customer and doesn't require any programming skills to be customized.

Web information portál for production line - Univer (2009)

Showcase of a web portal presenting historical production data. Production line output data are archived in a MS SQL database. Reports are developed in using ReportingServices.

End users with administration privileges can create new reports and publish them on the web portal. Portal navigation controls are bilingual and can be customized by the portal administrators.

 

Radiation evaluation system (2009-2010)

Example of an application developed in C# using Visual Studio. The system is used in nuclear power plants as a component of an electronic personnel radiation monitoring system.

Gas cylinder management system - EDN Kolín (2013)

Example of a database based application. Gas cylinder managemnet system allows the customer to monitor individual process components during the filling of gas into the cylinders. This application uses Modbus protocol to communicate with the DeltaV based control system and the bar code readers.

The new generation control system is using Festo IP components, which communicate with the ModBus protocol. New system is cheaper and faster to deploy.
